THE EMPLOYER IS: GIANT HOMES CAUSEWAY COAST We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Airbnb Housekeeper to manage cleaning and turnovers between guest stays. This role is essential to providing guests with a comfortable, spotless, and welcoming experience. Responsibilities
- Perform full cleaning of the property between guest check-outs and check-ins.
- Change bedding and launder towels.
- Restock essentials (toiletries, coffee/tea, cleaning supplies, etc.)
- Ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and staged according to our standards.
- Report any damages, missing items, or maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure all appliances and lights are functoning properly.
- Follow a checklist to maintain consistency and quality.
- Communicate with the host/manager as needed regarding scheduling or guest issues.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Attention to Detail - Ensuring rooms are spotless, staged correctly, and meet guest expectations.
- Time Management - Ability to complete turnovers quickly and efficiently, often within short windows.
- Reliability & Punctuality - Being consistently on time and dependable, especially on busy check-in days.
- Cleaning & Sanitisation Skills - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, use of cleaning products, and hygiene standards.
- Organisation Skills - Keeping cleaning supplies, linens, and toiletries well-stocked and arranged.
- Communication Skills - Clear communication with hosts or managers about issues, damages, or scheduling. Along with the ability to work alongside a team.
- Problem-Solving Ability - Ability to resolves mall issues independently, such as minor repairs or staging fixes.
- Physical Stamina - Ability to lift linens, move items, and clean efficiently across multiple spaces.
- Guest Awareness - Understanding the needs and expectations of short-term rental guests.
- Ability to Follow Checklists - Ensuring consistency in cleaning standards by following established procedures.
- Access to transportation to and from the property.
Desirable Skills
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays is advantageous.
