Job description

The role involves working from drawings, preparing and assembling pipework and ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard. You will work with a range of materials, support welders with correct fit up, and carry out basic testing and checks.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow drawings and instructions
• Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipework
• Work with steel, stainless steel, copper, and plastic pipe
• Fit flanged, screwed, and welded joints
• Use hand tools and power tools safely
• Support welders

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good practical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work from drawings
• Experience with common pipefitting tools
• Strong awareness of safety procedures
• Good communication and teamwork

Desirable Skills

• Experience with stainless steel materials
• Experience working on industrial, commercial, or process plant sites
• Driving licence and willingness to travel when required
