Site Training Officer


Job description

Foyle Campsie requires a Site Trainer. The successful candidate will report to Site Management and will be responsible for the introduction of new personnel to their respective roles within all production areas of the plant. Working in line with Company SOP’s, H&S, HR and Technical Procedures. The Site Trainer will also support Department Managers with the upskilling of current operatives.

Responsibilities

  • Training Staff
  • Trending and monitoring uptake of training
  • Co Ordination of Apprenticeships
  • Ensuring staff are signed off on SOPs
  • Maintaining the training matrix

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a production role in the Red Meat Industry
  • Working knowledge of the production flow within a food processing factory
  • Working knowledge /understanding of Technical, H&S, HR policies and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the Organisation
  • Demonstrate the ability to instruct individuals or groups
  • Excellent personnel and attendance record
  • Previous experience of Training Staff, Delivering Training
  • Administrative skills and computer literacy to include excel

  • Excellent personnel and attendance record

  • Proven knife skills with ability to sharpen and maintain equipment
  • Train the Trainer Qualification or willingness to undertake.
