We are seeking a dedicated Spray Painter to join our team, responsible for applying paint and finishes to various surfaces in the workshop. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a good understanding of spray painting techniques, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills within the painting trade while contributing to high-quality projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with other workshop duties whenever spray shop is quiet.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas to ensure proper paint adhesion.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and attention to detail.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including proper disposal of waste materials.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and any issues encountered.
• Assist with surface repairs or minor carpentry tasks as needed to facilitate painting work.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in spray painting or related trades is preferred.

Desirable Skills

• Valid driving licence is desirable.
