Job description

Responsible for harvesting of mushrooms as per customer product requirements, while applying policies and procedures aimed to maximise the yield and optimise mushroom quality and achieving the performance targets as set by the company.

Responsibilities

• Harvest mushrooms as per customer specification and product quality requirements
• Ensure that the products presented are of the highest possible standard; with particular focus given to weights, sizing, stem length, punnet identification

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good dexterity skills
• Good hand-eye coordination

Desirable Skills

• Previous harvesting experience is an advantage but not a requirement
