Job description

One part-time Domestic Assistant is urgently required for an immediate start to work in Mid-Ulster Hospital, Magherafelt. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday either 7.30am - 11am or 9.30am - 1pm with a rate of pay of £12.21 per hour. This is a temporary role lasting an initial period of 3 months, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning wards, corridors, and communal hospital areas to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Wiping down sanitising surfaces, furniture, and high-touch areas.
• Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, restrooms, washrooms, facilities, including replenishing soap and paper supplies.
• Emptying bins and safely disposing of general and clinical waste in accordance with hospital policies.
• Restocking cleaning materials and reporting any shortages or maintenance issues.
• Assisting with any additional domestic tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous domestic experience.
