Play Assistant
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: ST. JOHN'S BRIGHT START To work as a Play Assistant under the direction of the Play Leader.
Responsibilities
- To prepare a range of resources and activities for use at the After School Club daily.
- To prepare healthy snacks.
- To play with groups of children both indoor and outdoor activities.
- To work under the direction of both the Play Leader and Company Director.
- To clean all areas ready for the next session.
- To assist with basic record-keeping for attendance etc.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Good communication with a range of ages and parents.
- Good imagination and resourcefulness in the preparation of play activities.
Desirable Skills
- Record-keeping.
- Cleaning.

The Employer is: ST. JOHN'S BRIGHT START JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information - Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. - Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. - Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
