Job description

Responsible for fabricating and welding steel components to specification, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Fabricate structural steel components
• Measuring, cutting, and welding to specification
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper safety procedures are followed
• Any other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven experience as a MIG welder/fabricator in structural steelwork
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Skilled in the use of fabrication tools, machinery, and measuring equipment
• Good problem solving skills and ability to work independently

Desirable Skills

• Forklift licence
