Job description

Responsible for fabricating and welding steel components to precise specifications, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Fabricate structural steel components - measuring, cutting, welding and grinding.
• Inspect and verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper safety procedures are followed.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven experience as a welder/fabricator in structural steelwork.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Skilled in the use of fabrication tools, machinery, and measuring equipment
• Good problem solving skills and ability to work independently

Desirable Skills

• Forklift licence
