Job description

As part of a team contribute to the provision of an efficient and effective leisure service. Ensure highest standards of customer service within a safe and welcoming environment. Carry out duties as directed, including lifeguarding, cleaning, event/activity setup/takedowns and supervision and reception duties. Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest possible standards of safety, including the protection of children and vulnerable adults, through alert supervision in accordance with Council and Leisure Centre policies & procedures.
• Respond to and assist with all emergency situations and evacuations within the Leisure Centre in compliance with Councils Health and Safety procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of customers and staff.
• Perform all duties and assist customers in a manner that ensures high standards of customer care.
• Supervise, assist customers throughout Centre to ensure their safe & enjoyable use of facilities & involvement in activities including areas such as swimming pools, soft play areas, ten pin bowling (where applicable), changing areas, reception etc.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Possess a current National Pool Lifeguard qualification or equivalent.
• Applicants must provide specific and personal examples of having a least 6 months’ relevant experience of dealing with the public in a customer service environment.

Further Information

Location: Cookstown, Dungannon & Greenvale Leisure Centres (may be required to work across Leisure Facilities within the Mid Ulster area). Work Time: Rota basis, see employer website. Please note part time and casual posts/hours also available, see employer website.
