Junior Business Development Assistant

THE EMPLOYER IS: FLAMINGO BUSINESS & MARKETING SOLUTIONS We’re seeking a Junior Business Development Assistant to support our team as we continue to grow. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a genuine interest in building client relationships. You’ll assist with researching new opportunities, preparing proposals, managing sales administration, and helping the team deliver a seamless experience for our clients. Responsibilities
- Assist the Business Development team with researching new markets, leads, and potential partnership opportunities.
- Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
- Help coordinate meetings, calls, and follow-ups with prospective and existing clients.
- Conduct industry research to support strategic planning.
- Provide administrative support including organising documents, scheduling, and general team coordination.
- Support the team at networking events, trade shows, and client meetings where required.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless handover of new clients or projects.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Applicants will require GCSEs with Grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent marketing qualification.
- Managing social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok.
- Graphic design, excellent IT knowledge and proven customer engagement.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in an administrative marketing or digital marketing role is desirable but not essential.
- Flexible with own car and full clean driving licence.
