We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bistro Manager to oversee the opening of our brand-new bistro, An Clár Dubh Caifé. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional with a passion for exceptional customer service and high standards of food quality and safety. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing operational standards, leading the team, and creating a welcoming environment for customers from day one.
Responsibilities
- Management & Supervision: manage all aspects of daily operations, including staff supervision, rota management, training, and performance standards.
- Customer Service: deliver excellent customer service by engaging with guests, addressing concerns promptly, and maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Food & Beverage: oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency are maintained at all times. Compliance Ensure full adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations, including implementation...
- ...and monitoring of HACCP procedures.
- Financials: oversee day-to-day procedures including cash handling, end-of-day reporting, stock control, and assisting with financial management to control costs.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Proven experience.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent understanding of food safety and familiar with HACCP documentation.
