Job description
The Frying Squad is seeking a skilled Fish Fryer to join our team. As a Fish Fryer, you will ensure our customers receive high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers.
- Monitor oil quality.
- Ensure all food is cooked to order, on time and to the correct quality.
- Comply with food hygiene.
- Assist with deliveries, stock checks and safe storage of ingredients.
- Report equipment faults.
- Ensure that all food is cooked to perfection and meets our quality and safety standards.
- Keep a clean and organised workstation, including regularly cleaning and maintaining the fryers and other kitchen equipment.
- Assist in food preparation, such as cutting potatoes and preparing the batter.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Work with other kitchen staff to ensure that all food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
- Assist with other kitchen duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of frying technique.
- Good understanding of food hygiene.
