Job description

As our Learning & Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of transforming Inspire’s approach to people development. You’ll design forward thinking L&D interventions, champion digital learning, and ensure our teams across Ireland have access to engaging, effective development opportunities that support exceptional service delivery. Responsibilities

  • Engage with key stakeholders within the organisation to put in place a suite of value-adding and impactful L&D interventions.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the group, providing advice, support and guidance to Managers and Employees across the full scope of L&D.
  • Organise and resource the L&D team to develop and deliver these initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise and insights and lead the team to harness technology and AI to improve the access to, engagement with, efficiency of, and outcomes from L&D initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with Managers across the Inspire Group to ensure L&D services are tailored to both organisational and service area requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • A full current driving licence and access to a car. Business insurance will be a requirement for this post. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable as the role will involve working at various locations across Ireland and involve evening and weekends as required.
  • Third level qualification (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care or Human Resources or related disciplines.
  • Membership of a Relevant Professional Body.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the following areas:
  • Demonstrable experience introducing and embedding innovative, digital-first learning solutions in complex or resource-conscious organisations.
  • Track record of using technology (e.g. LMS, AI, mobile apps) to enhance workforce learning, wellbeing, and engagement.
  • Experience developing blended learning approaches that reach dispersed, frontline staff.
  • Proven experience delivering impactful learning programmes aligned to organisational mission and service outcomes.
  • Proven experience co-ordinating a complex training programme.
  • Proven experience of successfully managing a team.
  • Proven experience developing strong stakeholder relationships to deliver service excellence.
  • Proficient in using a database to maintain appropriate records and produce Management Reports.
  • Technical expertise in the use of technology and AI for the provision of Learning & Development.
