Job description

We are seeking a qualified Nursery Nurse to join our day care team. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children in the nursery ranging from 0 years to Primary 7. They will help support the staff in supporting the children in their physical, emotional, and educational development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care.
• Support children’s personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene.
• Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high standards of care and education.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).

Desirable Skills

• Applicants working towards their level 3 qualification will be considered.
