Job description

Working indoors at a conveyor belt, hand picking items off a sorting conveyor belt, inspecting them for contamination. Operating production machinery and equipment such as guillotines or machinery that make bales.

Responsibilities

• Separate paper, plastic bottles, tins and cans.
• Working with hazardous and toxic waste in line with the guidance provided.
• Keeping the site clean and tidy. Follow H&S procedures.
• Working in confined spaces and in an environment which is prone to dust, noise and odours.
• Quality control.
• Adhere to PPE.

• Previous experience in waste industry.
