Labourer
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: SG CONSTRUCTION The Construction Labourer will support day-to-day operations on construction sites under the supervision of experienced tradespeople. The role involves general labouring duties to assist with ongoing building projects while following health and safety procedures. Full training and supervision will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with general labouring tasks on construction sites.
- Preparing and clearing work areas.
- Preparing and clearing work areas.
- Supporting skilled tradespeople as required.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe site.
- Following health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Using basic tools and equipment under supervision.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Ability to carry out physical work.
- Awareness of basic health and safety practices.
- Good time management.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience on a construction site.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools or materials.
- Manual handling awareness.
- Good communication skills.

The Employer is: SG CONSTRUCTION JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information - Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. - Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. - Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
