Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: HAPPY FEET PODIATRY SERVICES We are offering a Telephone Sales & Booking Coordinator role within a busy podiatry clinic. This role focuses on contacting existing and lapsed patients, re-engaging them with our services, booking appointments, taking payments, and supporting excellent customer service. The successful participant will gain valuable experience in customer communication, sales, administration, and working within a healthcare environment. Full training and ongoing support will be provided as part of the JobStart Scheme.

Responsibilities

  • Contact existing and lapsed patients by telephone to re-engage them with clinic services.
  • Book appointments accurately using the clinic’s booking system.
  • Take payments securely over the phone when required.
  • Provide clear information about services, pricing, and appointment availability.
  • Update patient records and call outcomes in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Deliver a friendly, professional customer experience.
  • Liaise with reception and clinical staff to ensure smooth appointment scheduling.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • Basic IT skills (email, data entry, booking systems).
  • Willingness to learn and take instruction.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous customer service or call handling experience.
  • Interest in healthcare or working in a clinical setting.

The Employer is: HAPPY FEET PODIATRY SERVICES JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information - Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. - Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. - Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
