Our client are currently recruiting an experienced Joiner to join their team based in Derry/Londonderry. This is an excellent temporary to permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and steady residential work. In this role, you will be carrying out joinery work within occupied and vacant residential properties, preparing homes ready for final decoration. Responsibilities

• Carrying out strip-out works including removal of existing bathrooms
• Ply-lining walls and floors in residential properties
• Fitting skirting boards and general finishing joinery ready for painting
• Working to drawings, specifications, and site instructions
• Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area at all times
• Complying fully with all relevant health and safety regulations

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven experience working as a Joiner, ideally within residential properties
• Ability to carry out bathroom rip-outs, ply-lining, and finishing joinery to a high standard
• Must have own tools and transport
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good awareness of health and safety on site
