Trainee Power Platform Developer

Garvagh Community Building, 65 Main Street, Garvagh. THE EMPLOYER IS: FOCUSED ON DATA We are looking for an individual to join our Software Development Team as a Trainee Power Platform Developer, working as part of our build and testing of a Power Apps application. You will be a part of a small team of software and technical experts, who provide software services to companies across Northern Ireland, and you will be given hands-on experience in many aspects of software development and application support. Flexible working hours are available to work around other commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Generate application specification from a list of requirements.
  • Choose the best tools to achieve the stated goal for the customer.
  • Assist in application build as part of a larger development team.
  • Test the application on multiple platforms and operating systems.
  • Provide user support via the company online helpdesk.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Interest in IT and technology.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of computers, software, and networks.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
  • Able to work in-person at our offices in Garvagh.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with basic troubleshooting.
  • Any IT certifications.
