Oxfam Ireland is currently looking for a Store Manager to join our Newtownards shop. If you have the below experience why not apply today? This is an excellent opportunity to manage and develop the shop team, raise funds to support Oxfam work around the world and promote Oxfam’s values.

Responsibilities

• The primary responsibility of a Shop Manager is to maximise sales from all retail activities.
• Assist the District Retail Manager in preparation, achievement and monitoring of shop income and expenditure budgets.
• Be responsible for maximising profitability by: ensuring appropriate levels of stock are available through effective management; Ensuring sufficient stock is sorted, processed and on the shop floor to meet income targets.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Demonstrable experience of retail management to include: budget and sales analysis; product knowledge and trend awareness and merchandising.
• Staff management experience.
• Communication and networking skills.
• Commercial ability and product knowledge.
• Teamwork skills.
• Commitment to Oxfam values and mission.
• Knowledge of IT including Microsoft office.

Desirable Skills

• Volunteer Management
