Job description

The post holder will work within a team to develop and deliver personalised support services to adults with learning disabilities who display complex needs (mental health issues, physical disabilities, and varying levels of challenging behaviours) in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence. • To work within a team to develop and deliver personalised support services to adults with learning disabilities.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• QCF/NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year's experience in a support role working with adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour in a community/residential setting.
• Must be currently registered with NISCC or if new to the sector must achieve registration within 6 months.
• Or a minimum of 2 years' experience in a support role working with adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour in a community/residential setting.
• Have previous administration experience.
