Job description

Due to retirement we are seeking a Warehouse Operative who is also able to drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle to cover holidays and occasional one off deliveries. Joining our small team, the role will involve ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, rotation and despatch of our products as well as serving customers on our busy trade counter.

Responsibilities

• Picking and carefully packaging our products to ensure they arrive at our customers premises in perfect condition. Accurately completing paperwork relating to goods in and goods out. Using a computer to check stock levels
• Ensuring a professional and prompt service is always maintained for our trade counter.
• 7.5 tonne driving to cover driver holiday & occasional one off deliveries.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Background in warehouse experience, including being able to safely lift heavy / awkward loads and able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience in driving 7.5 tonne vehicles with a valid driver's licence.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with forklift operation is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting.
