Quality Assurance Officer
Job description
To support the delivery of safe, high-quality domiciliary care services by monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on service performance. The postholder will report to the Quality & Compliance Lead and work closely with service users, carers, staff, and commissioners to ensure services meet regulatory requirements, organisational standards, and best practice, while driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Monitor the quality and performance of domiciliary care services through planned reviews, visits, and feedback.
- Collect and analyse feedback from service users, carers, staff, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
- Support the development, monitoring, and reporting of action plans to address quality or performance issues.
- Complete accurate monitoring reports and maintain records including compliments, complaints, and feedback.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2 years paid experience in monitoring service quality and preparing reports.
- QCF Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care.
- Experience in a social care setting.
- Excellent communication, organisational & IT skills.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Full driving licence and access to a car.
- Ability to take part in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
