Job description

This position is to assist a young man in the mornings for one hour and in the evenings for 30 minutes. The morning call is to assist with transfers on off shower chair, which he then pushes over the toilet to perform his bowel care. Carer is then needed to assist with transfer off shower chair and minimal assistance with washing/dressing. He requires supervision/minimal assistance to transfer into wheelchair from bed. He has a swivel bather over the bath in his property and requires assistance of one to transfer on off this. Showering would be on alternate days. The evening call is to assist, supervise with transfers into bed and get settled.

Responsibilities

• Assist this young man with washing and dressing in the morning. There is no personal care.
• In the evenings he would need minimal assistance to get into and settled for bed.
