Stepping Stones Pre School Centre, offers a high quality Pre School experience in a stimulating learning environment. The temporary Deputy Pre School Leader will assist the leader, during the Pre School Session to promote high quality provision for children and to ensure a safe, stimulating play for each individual child.

Responsibilities

• Work in a highly motivated team and liaise with parents/carers and other professionals.
• Provide the children with a safe, secure & stimulating environment.
• Carry out observations of their key children, linking to the Pre School Curriculum.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Child Protection Awareness Training & Designated Officer Training.
• QCF5 Diploma in children's care, learning & development or equivalent.
• Computer literacy skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office Package.

Desirable Skills

• One years experience working with Pre School aged children.
• Paediatric first aid.
• Health & Safety training.
• Level 2 food hygiene,
• Experience working with children.
• Willingness to complete training required.
