Job description

The post holder shall provide assessment, diagnostic and treatment modalities to a range of patients with musculoskeletal pathologies. The service will be delivered across community sites. The post holder will develop and evaluate individual patient treatment plans in collaboration with other members of the relevant multidisciplinary teams. The post holder will liaise with other members of the podiatry and multidisciplinary teams. Emphasis will be placed on evidence based practice, multidisciplinary team working and high standards of clinical care. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and initiate individual treatment plans and evaluate progress.
• Work in collaboration with relevant health care professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in the development of protocols and audit tools specific to this service.
• Undertake minor nail surgery.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Applicants must have a Degree or Diploma in Podiatry and be registered with the HCPC.
• Minimum of 3 years’ post graduate experience and can demonstrate clinical experience in the relevant specialist area.
