Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our service user who is seeking a reliable and caring Care Assistant to provide support. The successful applicant will be supporting an elderly gentleman with mobility difficulties in his own home and providing reassurance and assistance to allow his spouse to attend to errands. The gentleman is lightweight, does not require medication support, and does not need daily visits. The family are sociable, flexible, and open to agreeing suitable visit times with the right carer. Responsibilities

• Duties will include assisting with dressing and personal care, supporting washing and showering twice per week, and providing sitting support a few times each week.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• This role would suit someone with at least one year of experience working as a Care Assistant and who holds a full drivers licence.
• Good communication skills are essential.

Desirable Skills

• Applicants should be comfortable working independently in a home care setting.
