Production Administrator


Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: ZEUS LABELS The Production Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the production team, ensuring production schedules, documentation, and reporting processes run smoothly. This role acts as a key link between production, procurement, logistics, and management to help maintain efficient and compliant production operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the production department.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain production schedules and reports.
  • Process production orders, work orders, and job tickets.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality data.
  • Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure material availability.
  • Assist with planning and tracking production targets and KPIs.
  • Support compliance with health, safety, and quality standards Manage documentation such as SOPs, batch records, and production logs.
  • Communicate production updates to relevant departments.
  • Handle data entry and maintain production systems (ERP/MRP systems).
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and internal reviews.
  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, meeting coordination, and correspondence.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of production or manufacturing processes.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
