THE EMPLOYER IS: PIPS SUICIDE PREVENTION IRELAND We are looking for an individual who will support the Fundraising Team in executing administrative tasks to a high standard as well as assist with the preparation of materials and merchandise for fundraising events. Occasionally, it may be necessary to work at the weekend to support the delivery of fundraising events and activities. The Fundraising Assistant supports PIPS Suicide Prevention (PIPS Charity) Fundraising Team by completing essential administrative tasks, processing donations, maintaining supporter records, and preparing materials. They help deliver fundraising events, campaigns and outreach activities while representing PIPS Charity and promoting its mission. Working alongside the Fundraising Officer and Fundraising Manager, this role plays a key part in generating income and awareness to sustain PIPS Charity's vital services.
Responsibilities
- Support the promotion of PIPS mission and values in working towards achieving our aims and objectives.
- General administrative duties including processing donations, ensuring timely acknowledgements and maintaining donor data.
- Support relationships with supporters.
- Send thank you correspondence to supporters.
- Preparing and sending out fundraising materials and merchandise materials for various fundraising events.
- Support fundraising events and campaigns.
- Attend information and outreach events.

- An engaging and inspiring individual.
- An ability to communicate across a range of communication methods and a willingness to develop these skills.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with the ability and willingness to learn and use standard office and other digital applications. Self-motivated.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and appropriate boundaries in all matters related to their work.
- Flexible attitude towards working hours to meet clients' needs and as demanded by requirements of the job.
- To apply for this role, you must have a full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle, or access to a means of transport.
Desirable Skills
- Customer service experience providing excellent supporter care.
- Confident and skilled in all aspects of communication.
- Excellent IT skills.

The Employer is: PIPS SUICIDE PREVENTION IRELAND JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information. Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
