Project Support Assistant/Administrator


Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: CAIRDENACILLE CIC The role involves providing administrative and project support to Cairdenacille CIC. Key responsibilities include maintaining data systems and records, overseeing financial and governance documentation, and supporting project and grant expenditure tracking and reporting. The post-holder will manage bookings and sales administration, assist with project event coordination alongside the wider team, and take full responsibility for coordinating specific projects or project components where relevant expertise or qualifications apply. Additional practical duties may be required to ensure effective delivery of the organisation’s work. This is a varied role in an interesting environment with a supportive team. Whilst office-based, there are opportunities for tasks outside the office as well.

Responsibilities

  • Use of designated templates/spreadsheets/apps as per data storage system administration.
  • Storage of confidential documents and data, using calculator for accurate reporting, and complete financial administrative reporting.
  • Applying/implementing rules and regulations relating to governance and financial record-keeping.
  • Basic project reporting and research.
  • Communication relating to bookings/sales, marketing, events and basic financial information.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Attention to detail.
  • Team working.
  • Numeracy and literacy with GCSE level Maths and English.
  • Experience of punctuality, time management and organisation of tasks.
  • Ability to focus on tasks on hand.
  • Clear communicative skills - listening, understanding, speaking and writing using good pronunciation/ grammar.
  • Taking an interest in areas linked to work to enable better understanding/carrying out various tasks/roles or communication skills in teams.
  • Flexibility to help out in any practical way relating to the workplace.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of languages or subjects linked to heritage/history/archaeology/arts.
  • Digital skills to enhance organisation.
  • Business administration and/or marketing.
