ETI works with commercial and industrial energy users to help them cut electricity costs and create new revenue opportunities through smarter use of their electricity connections and flexibility. We manage the technical and commercial complexity of energy solutions, allowing customers to focus on running their business. The Energy Solutions Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing sales opportunities with commercial and industrial energy users. The role focuses on customer engagement, opportunity development, and early-stage site understanding, while working closely with ETI’s Projects and Engineering teams to progress opportunities through more detailed technical assessment. The role will also support ETI’s growth by identifying potential locations for internal energy projects and feeding these into the internal project pipeline. This is a sales-focused, customer-facing role with a strong emphasis on travelling to customer sites and building relationships in person. You’ll split your time between: Being on the road, meeting customers at energy-intensive sites. Research into new potential locations sites for in house Energy Projects. Working from the office, following up leads, learning the detail behind ETI’s solutions, and preparing proposals This role suits someone who enjoys meeting people, having practical conversations, and developing long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities.
- Manage opportunities from initial contact through to proposal stage.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Represent ETI professionally during customer meetings and site visits.
- Carry out site visits to understand operations and energy usage.
- Gather initial site and operational information.
- Explain ETI’s solutions in a clear, practical manner.
- Identify when detailed technical input is required.
- Request and coordinate in-depth site surveys and technical reports from Projects / Engineering Team
- Act as main customer contact during technical assessment.
- Support opportunity progression through internal liaison.
- Identify potential sites for internal ETI energy projects.
- Engage site owners to assess feasibility and interest.
- Feed opportunities into ETI’s project pipeline.
- Work closely with the Commercial Manager.
- Liaise with Projects, Engineering, and Commercial teams.
- Maintain accurate CRM and internal records.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Confident in face-to-face engagement.
- Ability to manage technical and non-technical discussions.
- Willingness to travel Around Ireland.
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Skills
- Degree in Business-related discipline.
- Degree in Engineering or technical field.
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience.
- Interest in energy or infrastructure projects.
- Organised and self-motivated.
