Job description

We are seeking a Yard Operative, for our client Allied Bakeries in Belfast. Working within a busy transport operation the Yard Operative will support the Vehicle Maintenance Unit, manoeuvring vehicles due for service, maintaining vehicle and site tidiness and conducting effective vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle washing (external and internal).
• Vehicle & Equipment fluid level checks and adjustments.
• General workshop/Site maintenance/Cleaning duties.
• Driving duties (dependent on licence category).
• Organisational stock duties.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good interpersonal and communications skills.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Valid Category C Licence.

Desirable Skills

• Organisational stock duties.
