Business Development Coordinator
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: WILD HAWK LTD This entry level Business Development Coordinator role supports the growth of the company, by assisting with client acquisition, partnership development, and market expansion initiatives. The role coordinates business development activities, prepares proposals and presentations, maintains client data, and collaborates with the sales & marketing team to drive revenue opportunities. All training will be provided, and there is no expectation of previous paid employment in Business Development, so long as the candidate can demonstrate the skills necessary to grow in this role.
Responsibilities
- Support business development initiatives by coordinating lead generation, prospect outreach, and follow-up activities.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, pitch decks, and marketing materials.
- Support market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and potential partners.
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate client, prospect, and pipeline data.
- Coordinate meetings, calls, and events with prospective clients and partners.
- Track business development metrics, prepare reports, and support performance analysis.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align strategies and messaging.
- Assist with contract preparation, documentation, and administrative tasks related to new business.
- Support networking events, conferences, and trade shows as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Demonstratable experience (paid or voluntary) of developing a project or initiative.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (ability to communicate face to face and on phone).
- Excellent organisational skills (please provide examples).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
- Proficiency in using online platforms and a willingness to learn how to use HubSpot and other online platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills
- Full driving license and access to vehicle (or working towards acquiring licence).
