Job description

The Technical Standards Manager will report to the Head of Development Services; working within a team involved in the active programming and approval of general needs and supported housing schemes to provide technical support within the Development Programme Group; dealing with the evolution and assessment of schemes to meet the requirements of the Housing Association Guide.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical appraisal of scheme proposals to ensure compliance with the relevant design requirements and criteria contained within the Housing Association Guide.
• As a senior professional in the team the Technical Standards Manager may be required to cross professional boundaries to make a contribution to the overall management of the group.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Have a degree level qualification or equivalent Level 6 qualification, and demonstrate a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

Further Information

Salary: £45,091 - £51,356 per annum pro rata
