The job involves working in a fast paced recycling environment. This job includes regular job variety with operatives involved in a range of processing and sorting of metals in preparation for their onward export.

Responsibilities

• Sorting of metals.
• Processing of metals.
• Working on picking line.
• General housekeeping.
• Follow company health, safety & environmental rules.
• Training of plant for future internal growth.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with the ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a team environment with others.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic safety checks such as first aid or fire prevention tests or procedures in accordance with established procedures.

Desirable Skills

• Forklift licence.
