Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: SMALL STEPS Small Steps is seeking a Shop Assistant to join their team. This role will involve working in a busy charity shop and assist the manager in the day to day running of the shop.

Responsibilities

  • Using tills, processing payments, giving change, and following basic financial procedures.
  • Pricing items correctly.
  • Engage with and assist customers.
  • Sorting donations, organizing displays, and restocking shelves.
  • Use a clothes steamer.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Full training will be provided.

Desirable Skills

  • Portable Appliance Testing Certificate (training can be provided).

The Employer is: SMALL STEPS JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information - Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. - Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. - Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
