THE EMPLOYER IS: GENTEM LTD A Fire and Flood Restoration Technician is responsible for responding to property damage caused by fire, smoke, water or mould. The technician assesses damage, performs clean-up, drying and repair processes and restores affected areas to pre loss condition.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess fire, smoke and water damage.
• Perform water extraction, drying and dehumidification.
• Clean and sanitise affected areas, surfaces and belongings.
• Assist with demolition and structural drying when required.
• Operate restoration tools and maintain equipment.
• Follow safety, environmental and health requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to use equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers.
• Safety and Compliance skills.
• Customer services and communication skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role.
• Time management skills.

Desirable Skills

• Driving Licence.
