Registered Manager
Job description
We're looking for a Registered Manager who's passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with disabilities. As the Registered Manager, you will play a valuable role in ensuring children and young people with a disability receive a short break.
Responsibilities
- Line-manage the Team Manager, Senior Residential Project Worker and Support Staff.
- Lead a large team of Residential Project Workers.
- Ensure the highest quality of practice to children and families
- Work collaboratively in partnership with a range of Trust colleagues, internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure the service meets the requirements of regulatory body, RQI.
- Ensure the safe operation of the service, managing risks including health and safety, safeguarding & finance.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A professional qualification in Social Work and have completed the AYE.
- Registration with NISCC on Part 1 of the register.
- Experience in matters of child protection and safeguarding.
- Experience of working with vulnerable children and young people
- Experience of leadership in the delivery of services to children and their families.
- Experience of working constructively with partner agencies, commissioners, and other stakeholders.
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle with business class insurance or alternatively be able to demonstrate how you can meet the mobility requirements of the post.

Hours: 37 hours per week. The hours can be worked flexibly across the week. Due to the nature of the service, there is an expectation that you will work a minimum of two days per month on either a Saturday or Sunday. Additionally, the role requires on-call cover on a rota basis alongside the deputy manager and senior childcare worker.
