THE EMPLOYER IS: KILKEEL GOLF CLUB This role involves hand-mowing greens, raking and maintaining bunkers, and repairing divots and pitch marks. Duties also include assisting with top dressing and seeding, as well as trimming hedges, trees, and surrounding course areas. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to shadow experienced greenkeepers to develop skills and gain knowledge in all aspects of course maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Hand mowing greens.
• Raking & maintaining bunkers, repairing divots, pitch marks.
• Assisting with top dressing & seeding.
• Trimming hedges, trees, course surrounds.
• Keeping path, drainage and practice areas tidy.
• Shadowing experienced green keepers.
• Reported back to head greenkeeper.
• Ensure work is done following all health and safety requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Being able to work in all weathers.
• A good general knowledge of health and safety for both themselves other green keepers and members of the public.

Desirable Skills

• Good time keeping.
