Home Care Assistants required in Limavady and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Care in the community.
• Personal care - showering/washing, oral hygiene, toileting.
• Light meal preparation - breakfast/lunch/tea/supper.
• Companionship.
• General tidy round leaving all areas safe and clean.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle.
• Great communication skills.
• Able to promote and deliver person centred care.
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care.

Desirable Skills

• QCF Level 3 or above in health and social care.
• Previous paid caring experience.
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care.
• Care about the community they live in.
