E-Learning Coordinator


Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: PRAGMATIC CONSULTANCY LIMITED This role will perform the day-to-day management and upkeep of Pragmatic Consultancy’s online courses. The post-holder ensures the learning experience is current, accessible and technically reliable, provides technical and learner support, and works with subject matter experts to refresh course content so online training remains a credible and attractive route for client upskilling. The post-holder will work closely with the Sustainability Consultant and Director to increase workshop reach, maintain positive client relationships, and turn online activity into longer-term client work and training pathways.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the learning management system and course portals.
  • Add new modules, update existing lessons and ensure all media (videos, slides and quizzes) are uploaded correctly and display across devices.
  • Act as the first point of contact for learners in resolving access issues and escalating pedagogic or technical issues when necessary.
  • Answer course content questions.
  • Perform regular content quality checks and version control.
  • Ensure courses meet basic accessibility standards.
  • Maintain course metadata and module outlines.
  • Manage enrolments, certificates and basic reporting on completion rates and learner engagement.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Enthusiasm for sustainability and show a clear motivation to work in sustainability, whether through study, volunteering, personal projects or an eagerness to learn.

Desirable Skills

  • Clear, professional communication through ability to write concise emails, speak confidently in small groups and produce short summaries for clients.
  • Basic facilitation support and group presence, comfortable to run and lead a small group or willing to develop the skills.
  • A reliable working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams plus cloud file sharing would be helpful but can be shown.
