Climate Fresk Facilitator & Sustainability Consultant


Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: PRAGMATIC CONSULTANCY LIMITED This is a client-facing role to support Pragmatic Consultancy’s sustainability workstream by delivering Climate Fresk workshops, developing community engagement, and supporting the Sustainability team with practical, hands-on tasks. The post-holder will work closely with the Sustainability Consultant and Director to increase workshop reach, maintain positive client relationships, and turn workshop activity into longer-term client work and training pathways.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, delivering and adapting Climate Fresk workshops for a mix of clients and internal teams, including in-person and online/hybrid formats.
  • Organising workshop logistics (materials, rooms or virtual platforms, registrations) and ensuring a smooth participant experience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with workshop participants and client contacts answering queries, signposting follow-up support and escalating client needs to the Sustainability Consultant and or the Director.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Coachability and learning agility to accept feedback, iterate quickly and demonstrate rapid improvement.

Desirable Skills

  • Clear, professional communication through ability to write concise emails, speak confidently in small groups and produce short summaries for clients.
  • Basic facilitation support and group presence, comfortable to run and lead a small group or willing to develop the skills.
  • A working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams plus cloud file sharing would be helpful but can be shown.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and show a clear motivation to work in sustainability, whether through study, volunteering, personal projects or an eagerness to learn.
  • Self-starter mentality and using own initiative to take practical steps without constant direction: preparing materials, following up on tasks, and flagging problems early.
