THE EMPLOYER IS: BIDVEST NOONAN Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the role holder will carry out set duties and create and maintain a quality standard of cleaning to the agreed specification within set time limits. They will ensure that exceptional service levels are provided to our client and customers. You will act as a role model for positive attitude and respect for our colleagues, clients and customers - reinforcing our vision to always be our clients "partner of choice". Along with this, you will demonstrate and encourage trust, integrity and collaboration with all of our clients and colleagues. You will actively contribute to a high-performance culture and embrace change while identifying and proposing new ways of working with colleagues and the management team. While ensuring that all materials and equipment are used in a safe manner and kept secure you will ensure that maintenance and test cleans are performed, and if any issues arise they are reported to the Line Manager. You will be required to comply with company and client operating procedures, working practices and protocols while ensuring checklists are signed off as required. You will actively support and encourage a culture of social responsibility, including encouraging a green agenda across client sites and participating in events that support local charities.

Responsibilities

  • General - Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas including offices, corridors, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
  • General - Dust, wipe, and disinfect surfaces such as desks, tables, counters, and equipment.
  • General - Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
  • Waste Management - Empty waste bins and recycling containers.
  • Waste Management - Replace bin liners and ensure waste is disposed of correctly and safely.
  • Restroom & Hygiene Maintenance - Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and other washroom fixtures.
  • Restroom & Hygiene Maintenance - Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet tissue, and hand towels.
  • Equipment Use & Care - Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuums, floor scrubbers) safely and correctly.
  • Equipment Use & Care - Report any faults or maintenance needs for cleaning equipment.
  • Equipment Use & Care - Ensure all cleaning materials and chemicals are used in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance - Follow company health and safety policies, including COSHH (if applicable).
  • Health, Safety & Compliance - Use appropriate PPE for all cleaning tasks.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance - Report hazards, damages, or security concerns to supervisors promptly.
  • Customer Service & Professional Conduct - Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
  • Customer Service & Professional Conduct - Respond politely to customer or staff requests.
  • Customer Service & Professional Conduct - Work independently or as part of a team to deliver high cleaning standards.
  • Stock Management - Monitor cleaning supply levels and report when replenishment is needed.
  • Stock Management - Store equipment and materials safely after use.
  • Additional Duties - Assist with deep cleaning tasks when required.
  • Additional Duties - Support emergency cleaning tasks (e.g., spills, accidents).
  • Additional Duties - Follow specific cleaning schedules or site-specific instructions.
