Finance Transformation Project Manager
Job description
The Finance Transformation Programme Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Inspire Wellbeing’s finance transformation programme. This includes the procurement, implementation and adoption of a new ERP / finance system, alongside the redesign of Inspire’s finance operating model to be simpler, more automated, insight-driven and sustainable.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the finance transformation programme, ensuring outcomes are aligned to Inspire’s strategic, financial and operational priorities.
- Lead the procurement and selection of a new ERP / finance system, including requirements definition, market engagement, evaluation and contract award.
- Redesign end-to-end finance processes using systems thinking and lean principles, reducing complexity, duplication and manual effort.
- Lead the change management approach for the finance transformation, ensuring high levels of engagement, adoption and capability uplift within the finance team and wider organisation.
- Establish and maintain robust programme governance, plans, risks, dependencies and benefits tracking.
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement within the finance function, encouraging innovation, learning and incremental improvement.
- Work collaboratively with Digital & Technology, Finance, Procurement, HR and service teams to ensure transformation is joined-up and sustainable.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- To be flexible as the role may involve working at various locations.
- Possess a full current driving licence and access to a car. Business insurance will be a requirement for the role.
- Degree level Qualification or 5 years’ experience successfully delivering financial business and systems transformation.
- Proven track record of working with and successfully delivering business transformation projects across a diverse range of stakeholders at various levels in other functions
- Experience of procurement and implementation of finance systems and driving organisational adoption.
- Strong experience managing third-party suppliers and implementation partners.
- Managing multiple workstreams and priorities to meet challenging deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of automation, workflow tools and emerging AI applications within finance.
- Deep understanding of finance processes (e.g. P2P, O2C, R2R, budgeting, reporting, controls).
