Purchasing Administrator
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: MJM MARINE A Purchasing Administrator supports the procurement process by managing orders, coordinating with suppliers, handling invoices, and maintaining accurate records. They ensure purchases are processed efficiently. This role involves supporting the procurement and finance processes by sending out requests for quotes, managing responses, and raising purchase orders on the internal system.
Responsibilities
- Sending out requests for quotes.
- Managing quotes.
- Raising Purchase Orders - on internal system.
- Sending orders to suppliers.
- Organising proformas if required.
- Sorting out invoice queries.
- Reconciliation of credit card statements.
- Chasing supplier orders.
- Helping department to complete reports.
- All other duties within the reasonable remit of the Placement Title.
- Effective upward reporting to senior manager.
- Early identification of any issues that may affect the successful delivery of the project.
