THE EMPLOYER IS: LAGAN ENGINEERING LTD The role involves assisting across various departments to ensure production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled trades (fitters, welders, painters, operators) as required.
• Load, unload, and move materials and components within the workshop.
• Carry out basic assembly, cleaning, and preparation tasks.
• Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision.
• Support production processes to meet targets and deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas.
• Carry out quality checks and report defects or issues.
• Follow work instructions, company procedures, and health & safety rules.
• Use PPE correctly at all times.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions.
• Use of basic hand tools.
• Housekeeping skills.
• Basic machine awareness.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Willingness to learn.
