THE EMPLOYER IS: MJM MARINE A Sustainability Assistant will support our environmental and sustainability efforts by helping promote resource efficiency, assist with compliance and reporting, and engage teams in initiatives that drive positive environmental impact. This role supports the organisation’s sustainability objectives by assisting with sustainability strategies, action plans, and performance tracking. MJM Marine is a progressive, flexible and rapidly growing specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor. The business has built a reputation for excellence and innovation by delivering major marine projects for local and global clients and due to significant growth, the opportunity has arisen for a Sustainability Assistant to join our Newry Office. Successful applicants can participate in education, training as is necessary, to enable them to carry out their role and to support the company’s objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support sustainability strategies, action plans, and performance tracking.
• Assist with monitoring resource use and improving environmental performance.
• Support waste reduction, recycling, and sustainable procurement initiatives.
• Assist with environmental compliance and data collection.
• Support sustainability and ESG reporting.
• Assist with cross-department initiatives and employee engagement on sustainability.
