Home Care Assistants required.

Responsibilities

• Care in the community
• Personal care - washing/showering, toileting, oral hygiene
• Light meal preparation - breakfast/lunch
• Companionship
• General tidy round ensuring that all areas are left safe

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
• Great communication skills
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care

Desirable Skills

• QCF Level 3 or above in health and social care
• Previous paid caring experience
• Care about the community they live in
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care
• Be well organised/professional/caring
