Boran Mopack Ltd is seeking reliable and detail-focused Production Operatives to join our growing team. Following recent machinery upgrades within multiple departments, we are expanding our team and recruiting for multiple positions across the company. Successful candidates will work closely with a Senior Operator to support job setup and day-to-day operations. The role includes preparing materials, monitoring quality standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and contributing to the efficient production of high-quality printed materials for our well-known customers. Please note - this job is onsite and there is no sponsorship available for this role. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist a Senior Operator with all aspects of order set-up.
• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Roll changes, including taking rolls off the press, recording and palletising.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality output.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Accurately record production data and report any discrepancies or concerns to supervisors.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience in a production/factory environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.

Further Information

Shift Rotations: Work Time: 40 hours per week (part time is not available) on a 3 week rotating shift basis. Overtime is available if desired. The shift patterns are as follows: Week 1, 06:00-14:00 (Monday - Friday) Week 2, 14:00-22:00 (Monday - Friday) Week 3, 22:00-06:00 (Sunday Night - Friday Morning) Progression Opportunities: We believe in training and developing our staff to ensure our employees can progress with their employment. Once the successful candidates has joined the company and completed general operative training, if desired there will be opportunities for the ambitious person to progress to a senior production operative role taking responsibility for operating production machinery and producing product to required specifications.
